1. The petitioner was arrested on 13th August, 2023 and charge sheet was submitted on 22nd December, 2023. Charges were framed on 9th April, 2024.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no chance of early conclusion of the trial and as such he may be granted bail on any condition.

3. The learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner on the ground that there are sufficient materials against the present petitioner and further the defence has prayed for adjournment on a number of occasions.

4. The learned counsel for the State has also filed a status report. Having considered the same, I find that there are certain merits in the submissions of the learned counsel for the State.

5. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Apurba Sinha Ray, J.)
