1. We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 2.

The defacto complainant has alleged assault and an attempt of murder against the present petitioner. He is the husband of the defacto complainant. It is unfortunate that the petitioner is not maintaining the wife and the child even after direction passed by this Court for payment of ad hoc maintenance to the wife and the child.

Having regard to the nature of the allegation and the materials available in the case diary against the present petitioner, which prima facie disclosed an offence by the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the present petitioner is rejected. 5.
