Petitioner is aggrieved by the factum that proper burial was not afforded to his deceased wife and he intends to perform a proper burial and as such has approached the police authorities. To that effect he has communicated to the Inspector-inCharge, Bagnan Police Station. Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.

A report has been submitted on behalf of the state. Let the same be kept with the record. Report reflects that Bagnan Police Station Case No. 318/24 dated 21.06.2024 was registered for investigation and another case being Bagnan Police Station Case No. 548/24 dated 03.10.2024 has also been registered for investigation. The grievance of the petitioner so far as

proper burial not being given has been opposed by the learned advocate appearing for the respondent no. 5.

Be that as it may, the prayer so advanced before this court do not fall within the domain of the police authorities. Petitioner would approach the appropriate authorities of the administration and if his prayer is granted, in that case, the police authorities would assess and co-operate with the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 24656 of 2024 is disposed of.
