Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is inaction on the part of the concerned respondent authorities in taking steps based on the application for transfer of the petitioner dated 30th August, 2022.

Petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in a Government aided High School who has made an application seeking transfer on the ground of distance in between her present school and her place of residence.

It is also contended that since petitioner was found a single teacher in the subject in the concerned school her transfer application was not allowed.

The learned advocate representing the State

respondents submits that though petitioner made application on Utsashree portal but the said portal was suspended with effect from 29th September, 2022.

In addition thereto, it is submitted that petitioner was found a single teacher which prevented the authorities to take steps based on the transfer application of the petitioner.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties the writ petition stands disposed of directing the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Hooghly to take steps to make local arrangement in terms of the notification dated 3rd January, 2022 issued by the Additional Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, School Education Department and if a teacher is found who is willing to take classes in the subject in the concerned school temporarily the District Inspector of Schools shall take steps based on the aforesaid transfer application of the petitioner and forward the same to the concerned authority of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. Suspension of Utsashree portal will not create any impediment in taking decision on the transfer application of the petitioner provided local arrangement is made in terms of the notification

dated 3rd January, 2022.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
