Admittedly, the appeal is pending since December, 2022 and learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the alleged contemnor nos. 1 and 2 have not taken any steps for hearing of the appeal.

The last order passed by the appeal court of 6th July, 2023 records that the appellant in fact sought for an adjournment and the Division Bench was pleased to make it clear that pendency of the appeal will not be a bar for this Court to proceed with the contempt petition.
