Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been arraigned as accused on the basis of statement of co-accused. There are hardly any materials against him and he is in custody for 114 days. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the subject-matter of the case involves recovery of 1.4 kgs. of brown sugar and charges are to be framed in the next schedule fixed by the learned Trial Court.

Having considered the stage of the case, I direct that the petitioner be released on bail after the charges are framed by the learned Trial Court on such terms and conditions as the learned Trial Court/Special Court deems fit and proper to ensure the appearance of the petitioner on each and every date of the trial.

With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1288 of 2025, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
