Petitioner is in custody for one and half year. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits trial is in progress.

We have considered the materials on record. There are ample materials disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the dacoity. Trial is in progress. 4.
Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial Court is requested to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within two years from the next date fixed for recording prosecution witnesses
without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
