The instant application is filed praying for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 1519 of 2018 arising out of Baguihati P.S. Case No. 156 of 2018 dated 18.04.2018 under Sections 498A/323/406 and 506 of Indian Penal Code alongwith Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Mr. Debasis Roy, learned Public Prosecutor and Ms. Biswas, learned advocate for the State submitted that State will not stand in the way for passing any expeditious disposal. The instant application is disposed of passing direction to the learned Trial Court to the 1st Judicial Magistrate at Barasat, to dispose of the application expeditiously since the matrimonial suit between the parties has already been settled and disposed of. Copy of this order may be sent to the Court as well as concerned police station.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 4266 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.
