A report has been filed by the learned advocate representing the Corporation signed by two engineers on January 15, 2024. The report mentions that a demolition programme was scheduled on January 9, 2024 at premises no. Q-555, Pakaria Talab Lane, Ward No. 139, Borough-XV as per order of the Special Officer (Building) dated November 24, 2020.

During demolition a portion of the ground floor roof level of the single storied structure could be demolished. Further demolition has been scheduled on February 8, for demolishing the balance unauthorized structure.

The Corporation is directed to conclude the demolition of the balance unauthorized structure on February 8, 2024.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
