Re: CAN 8 of 2024

1. The affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is kept with the record.

2. The learned Counsel representing the added party respondents has submitted that he has not received any instruction to appear in this matter.

3. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this application directly to the Heavy

Engineering Corporation Ltd.

with an intimation that this matter shall be listed after a fortnight and in the event the respondents are not represented, the matter would be heard and disposed of in their absence.

4. The service should be effected by 1st July, 2024.

5. An affidavit of service shall be filed on the adjourned date.

6. Mr. Siddharta Banerjee, learned Counsel appears on behalf of the legal heirs and representatives of the respondent/ applicant No.6(C).

7. The petitioner shall take appropriate steps for substitution of the applicant No.6(C) in the meantime.

8. The learned Registrar General is directed to file a report indicating the reason for not releasing the amount as directed by the judgment and order dated 3rd August, 2023.

9. The matter stands adjourned for two weeks (i.e. 5th July, 2024).
