The petitioner prays for leave to conduct a Kali Puja.

The learned counsel for the State has placed a report wherein it has been stated by the Officer-inCharge, Usthi Police Station that two committees have expressed willingness to organize the said Kali Puja and the Officer-in-Charge has prayed for direction from the Hon'ble High Court regarding who shall be permitted to conduct the said Kali Puja.

Considering the said facts, the parties are directed to approach the concerned Block Development Officer before whom the petitioner has already placed his representation and the Block Development Officer

on hearing all the stakeholders shall take a decision in this regard which shall be final.

The Block Development Officer shall decide the same by 17th October, 2025.

The writ application stands disposed of.

All parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
