1. We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 2.

Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of involvement of the petitioner in the commission of alleged offence and prima facie it appears that there was a romantic relationship between the petitioner and the defacto complainant and also considering the age of the present petitioner, we are of the view that the custodial interrogation of the present petitioner is not necessary.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the present petitioner, namely, Faruk Sk @ Faruk Mandal, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/-, with two registered sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Signed By :

Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and on further condition that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a fortnight till the submission of the final report. The petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court within two weeks from date.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed.
