The writ petition has been preferred praying for police permission to conduct the Shyama Puja by the petitioner on the basis of a permission granted by the Executive Engineer, Contai Irrigation Division vide order dated 23.09.2025.

Learned counsel for the State has placed a report wherein it appears that the police authorities are ready and willing to consider the said prayer of the petitioner but they are not in a position to consider his prayer for use of microphone.

Accordingly the police authorities are directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner dated 22.09.2025 on the basis of the permission granted by the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division, Contai by 17th October, 2025. The prayer for use of microphone shall be considered by the appropriate authority.

The writ application stands disposed of.
