Case No.68 of 2025 dated 19.02.2025 under Sections 318(4)/336(2)/336(3)/340(2)/61(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with Sections 66(c)/66(d) IT Act. And In the matter of:

Md Ashik Hossain and another ... petitioners Ms. Shabana Hasin Ms. Samima Akter ... for the petitioners Mr. Bitasok Banerjee Mr. Karan Bapuli ... for the State Report filed by the State is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that other than the statement of a co-accused, there is no other material available against the present petitioners. Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary, the report and the call detail records and submits that, other than the statement of a co-accused and the other materials available in the case diary, there were several phone calls made between the principal accused and the present petitioners at the relevant time. The petitioners were directly involved in the making of fake Aadhaar Cards. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, I do not think this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
