The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated only with the reason that he had a relationship with the stepmother of the deceased. Moreso, he is languishing in custody for three months and he is not the principal accused.

Learned counsel for the State raises objection. 3.

After hearing both the advocates for the parties and going through the materials from the case diary as well as the statements made under Sections 182 and 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 by various

witnesses coupled with the post mortem report and the nature of injury sustained, this Court is of the view that a case of illicit relationship existed between the present petitioner and the stepmother of the deceased. 4.

Be that as it may, considering the nature of allegation and the period of incarceration already suffered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, the instant application for bail stands rejected. 6.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
