Mr. Atanu Ghosh ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year six months. Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that majority of the witnesses have been completed by the prosecution and only the persons associated with the investigation of the police department are left for examination.

Let the same be completed at the earliest.

Learned trial court would ensure that the verdict is pronounced by 31st May, 2026.

However, having considered that the case is at the final stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 2016 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
