The writ petitioners have used supplementary affidavit. Copies have been served. It is submitted by counsel for the State that police picket has been posted on the petitioners' land to ensure that there is no breach of peace. Counsel for the petitioners confirms the same.

Counsel for the petitioners has placed another complaint lodged on 21.11.2022 that one Mithun Murmu had come to the petitioners'

residence and has threatened to kill him if a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- is not given to him.

Mr. Mahapatra, learned counsel for the said Mithun Murmu/respondent no. 7 vehemently denies the allegations.

Be that as it may, this Court has noted the grievance of the petitioners that they are being

threatened to be removed from the village and shall not enter their house.

The O. C., Sabang Police Station shall post a police picket comprising of two constables outside the petitioners' house for a period of one week. Any further complaint against threat or intimidation from the private respondents and other villagers against the petitioners and particularly the persons claiming to be bargadar shall be forthwith attended to by the Sabang Police Station. The costs of this police picket shall be borne by the petitioners. Photographs produced along with the affidavits on the earlier occasion before this Court shall be taken into account by the Sabang Police Station in course of the investigation.

It is expected that the final report is filed by the Sabang Police Station within a period of one month from date.

The petitioners and the private respondents undertake before this Court to maintain strict peace and agitate any civil grievance against one and another before a Civil Court or a statutory forum.

On the complaint lodged against the petitioners, this Court directs that no coercive measure shall be taken against him.

The petitioners shall, however, co-operate in such investigation.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
