Matter relates to selection for the post of Assistant Headmaster in Iswarpur Bipin Memorial Academy (HS), District -Purba Medinipur.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that petitioner has grievance with regard to selection process conducted by the aforesaid

school authority, specially awarding marks in interview.

A communication of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur dated 27th September, 2024 addressing learned advocate for the State respondents is placed before this Court and same is taken on record.

It appears from the said communication dated 27th September, 2024 that the panel was submitted before the concerned District Inspector of Schools on 23rd September, 2024 with prayer for approval of the panel. It is further indicated in the communication dated 27th September, 2024 that the concerned District Inspector of Schools is taking steps to take decision on the said panel. Having considered the communication dated 27th September, 2024, at this stage Court should not examine validity and legality of selection process conducted by the aforesaid school authority for filling up post of Assistant Headmaster of the school.

The concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur, being respondent no. 3 is directed to take decision on the panel which was submitted on 23rd September, 2024 in terms of the relevant Recruitment Rules and communicate

the decision to the parties to this writ petition thereafter.

With the above observations and directions, writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
