The victim allegedly met with an accident on September 19, 2025 near Baruipur railways over bridge and was admitted to sub-divisional hospital, Baruipur. He was subsequently shifted to P.G.Trauma Care Centre where he expired on September 21, 2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner suspects foul play in the death of the victim who is her brother. She complains that her statement was not recorded and the CCTV footage of the place of occurrence has not been collected.

Learned counsel for the State submits that investigation commenced on a suo motu complaint lodged in connection with the road traffic accident. There is no CCTV at the place of occurrence. CCTV footages of

adjacent places have been collected and preserved. Investigation is going on.

In view of the above, the investigating authority is directed to conduct the investigation in a fair, unbiased and impartial manner and take the same to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law. In the event the petitioner intends to produce any document before the investigating authority which may help in investigation, she is at liberty to do so.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
