The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Lake Town Police Station in causing appearance before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, before whom the investigation ordered under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure was pending.

The Investigating Officer of the case is personally present in Court.

It is submitted that a Final Report of Mistake of Facts No. 247 of 2022 dated 30.11.2022 was filed in the matter.

The petitioner may seek appropriate remedies under the Code of Criminal Procedure in respect of the said Final Report of Mistake of Fact.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
