No ssi Ct 14 direction can be passed upon police authorities to ensure that a particular individual does not commit a cognizable offence. So far as the other prayers are concerned, the prime contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner's official residence is being occupied by her wife illegally and he is having to bear the penal rent and interest.

There is nothing that the police can do in this regard. Let the petitioner take appropriate steps before his employer and/or before any Civil Court to seek appropriate relief/s.

Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed without any further order even as to costs.
