......Petitioners.
Mr. J. I. Hossain ......for the Petitioners.
Mr. Prasun Kr. Dutta, ld. APP Mr. Mainak Gupta ......for the State.
Dictated by Apurba Sinha Ray, J.
1.
Learned Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. They are in custody for more than six months. There is no chance of their fleeing away from the course of justice and as such, they may be granted bail on any condition.
2.
Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. According to him, there are sufficient incriminating materials against the present petitioners since Indian fake currency notes have been seized from their possession. Charge sheet has been filed against the petitioners. The prosecution will adduce only 11 witnesses. If the petitioners are enlarged on bail, the prosecution may suffer.
