Officer-in-charge, Ghola Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate has filed instructions addressed to State advocate dated 21.11.2022, which is taken on record. It appears that house of the petitioners is abandoned. The daughterin-law left the house first and subsequently, the petitioners have also left the house and are not occupying for the last five years.

The petitioners may return to their house Officer-in-charge, Ghola Police Station shall render all assistance as may be sought by the petitioners.

The respondent no. 4/daughter-in-law is not represented despite service of notice.

Officer-in-charge, Ghola Police Station shall communicate this order to the private respondent no. 4/Jayeeta Paul chowdhury/daughter-in-law that she shall not in any way harass or disturb or contact the writ petitioners.

Officer-in-charge, Ghola Police Station shall maintain strict vigil over the premises and to ensure that petitioners live in peace.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
