No order can be passed in this writ petition. The petitioner has approached this Court alleging that the authorities before whom the representation which is Annexure - P/2 at page 15, had been filed, did not proceed with the matter.

The provisions of the West Bengal Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act and Rules thereunder have a specific form in which the senior citizen is to approach the appropriate authority under the law. No copy of such application is before this court. 3.

It is expected that if the appropriate authority has already been approached strictly in accordance with the provisions of law, the authority shall dispose of the proceedings expeditiously, upon hearing all the parties and by passing an order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 5.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
