Younis Mondal ...for the Petitioner Mr. Jaharlal De ... for the State The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of compensation in respect of the alleged acquisition proceeding of the subject premises. Mr. De, Advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that no portion of the subject premises has been acquired by the State respondents and there has been no acquisition whatsoever of the petitioner's premises. He relies on a document annexed at page 15 of the writ petition and submits that this information has already been supplied to the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid and more particularly in view of the fact that there has been no acquisition process initiated by the State, there is no scope of passing any order in favour of the petitioner.
Accordingly, WPA No. 22208 of 2019 is dismissed. There shall be, no order as to costs.
It is needless to mention here that if the State does initiate any acquisition process in respect of the subject premises the same would be in accordance with law. (Ravi Krishan Kapur,J)
