For the State respondents The grievance of the petitioner is directed against illegal forcible encroachment of his land by the respondents authorities without following due process of law. Pursuant to an order dated 26th February, 2021 respondents were directed to take instructions. Mr. Dutta appearing on behalf of the State respondents has submitted that the land of the petitioner has not been acquired and that there is no attempt to evict the petitioner from the subject premises.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the State, the grievance of the petitioner appears to be unfounded. Accordingly, W.P.A. 22216 of 2019 is dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
