It appears to this Court that no amicable settlement is reached with regard to the maintenance or the return of Stridhan articles.

This Court has already found on the earlier occasion that there is no inaction on the part of the police.

In view of the above, the parties may pursue their remedies under the Civil and Criminal Law in respect of their claims against one and another. On the joint prayer made by the parties, it is directed that M.C. Case No. 201 of 2022 now pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arambagh, Hooghly under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed by the petitioner is taken up expeditiously and disposed of with urgency by the concerned Magistrate.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
