The writ application has been preferred for disposal of the representations dated 12.09.2025 and 17.09.2025 made before the Chairman of the Kolkata Port Trust.

It is submitted that till date the said representations have not been considered.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Chairman may be directed to consider the other reliefs as prayed for in the writ application which the petitioner does not press before this Court but craves leave to pray for the said reliefs before the Chairman.

Learned counsel appearing for the Kolkata Port Trust has placed copy of an order dated 23.07.2025

wherein it is submitted that the representation has already been disposed of.

It appears that the order relates to M/S Burn Standard Co. Ltd. The petitioner herein is Haryana Steel Supply Co Pvt. Ltd.

It is submitted by the respondent Kolkata Port Trust that the petitioner herein is an alleged trespasser.

Considering that as the said order relates to M/S Burn Standard Co.

Ltd.

the petitioner's representation be considered and disposed of by the respondents in accordance with law and also in view of the order in respect of M/S Burn Standard Co. Ltd. by the Estate Officer. The said representation be disposed of within a period of thirty days from the date of communication of this order on hearing the parties with liberty to the parties to place their relevant documents before the Estate Officer who shall consider the same in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

Though the said representations have not been made to the Chairman, the same may be considered by the Estate Officer who is the appropriate authority to decide the same.

All parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
