Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

Report is placed on record. From the report it appears that medical officer was present in Court. However, prayer was made to defer his cross-examination on behalf of the accused.

Conduct of the petitioner and the co-accused in seeking adjournment when medical officer was present in Court exposes their intention to delay and dilate the proceedings.

Allegations against the accused, involving grave offence like murder which attracts mandatory life imprisonment.

Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
