1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is kept with the records.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the act on the part of the respondent no. 4 in seizing the articles including the machines in the saw mill behind his back.

3. Learned advocate for the respondent submit that the petitioner was running the saw mill without valid document.

4. It appears from the documents annexed to the writ petition that the articles were seized by the Forest Range Officer on 20th June, 2024 and petitioner was directed to visit the office of the authority within a period of seven days.

5. The petitioner failed to contact the concerned officer within the prescribed time limit. Thereafter, a detailed legal representation was filed before the authority, which is pending consideration.

6. Without entering into the merit of the grievance of the petitioner at this stage, as it appears that the representation of the petitioner is pending consideration before the authority, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Divisional Forest Officer, Kharagpur Division, being the respondent no. 3 herein to consider and dispose of the petitioner's legal representation dated 24th July, 2024 in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties and by passing a reasoned order at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the subject legal representation along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.

9. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
