In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, no prior service of notice on the opposite party is deemed necessary.

A matrimonial suit filed by the petitioner has been kept pending since the year 2021.

It transpires that only recently, the attempts at reconciliation have failed and evidence has started in the suit.

4.

Keeping in view the implicit urgency involved in a matrimonial suit, C.O. 3552 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fifth Court at Howrah, District-Howrah to dispose of Matrimonial Suit No.245 of 2021 pending before the said court as expeditiously as possible, positively within December 31, 2025.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
