For the State The petitioner prays for consideration of his prayer for permission dated 02.10.2025 to organize Chat Puja. An application to that effect is pending before the Officer-in-Charge, Halisahar Police Station. It is further submitted by the petitioner that vide an order dated 06.11.2024 passed in W.P.A. 26552 of 2024 the petitioner was granted permission to conduct the said Puja.

The learned counsel for the State has placed a report to show that the land belongs to Naihati Jute Mills Company Limited.

On considering the said facts and on hearing the parties the appropriate authority is permitted to dispose of the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law by 22.10.2025 on hearing the parties.

The writ application stands disposed of.
