The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Sarbodoy Gram Primary School, a school under Uluberia East Circle of Howrah District Primary School Council. The petitioner is praying transfer to any school at her home district Bankura.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate for the Howrah District Primary School Council files a report dated February 24, 2025 of the Chairman of the said Council; let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that the service of the petitioner has not yet been confirmed and her online application for transfer was once rejected.

The husband of the petitioner since is 60% physically handicapped and is suffering from Carcinoma, the prayer of the petitioner for transfer may be allowed in the backdrop of the facts and circumstances of the present case dispensing with the requirement of confirmation of her service.

The West Bengal Board of Primary Education is directed to consider the application of the petitioner for transfer dated July 15, 2024 which forms part of the writ petition being Annexure-P/4 and to pass a necessary order of transfer of the petitioner to any school nearer to her residence at Bankura.

WPA 24776 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
