1. Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is not the Director of the company. In a separate case, a direction was passed by this Court upon the CBI to investigate into the certain chit funds involving the concern namely, Rainbow Multi State Credit Co-cooperative Society Limited. Charge sheet was submitted in that matter. Subsequently, in 2018, the present de-facto complainant approached the State Police and filed this FIR. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

3. Learned Public Prosecutor representing the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that this is the case of chit fund. Rainbow Multi State Credit Co-cooperative Society Limited is obviously not a

company but a Cooperative Society. It is not registered with the RBI. The petitioner is directly involved in the wrongdoing. In any event, the petitioner has approached this Court after remaining absconding for nearly 7 years.

4. Considering the nature of allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
