The petitioner had complained to the Bhabanipur Police Station, Haldia against the private respondents and the IOC on 12.09.2022. 2.

The police have registered FIR No. 4 of 2022. Investigation has been completed and the report indicating mistake of facts has been filed by the police.

This Court finds no inaction on the part of the police.

Since the petitioner complains that he is unable to return to his residence out of fear, he shall report to the Bhabanipur Police Station on 20.05.2023 at 2 p.m.

The O.C. Bhabanipur Police Station shall depute a constable to assist the petitioner to

return back to his residence. It shall be ensured that the petitioner is able to live in peace. 6.

The police shall also ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

The writ petition is thus disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
