This is an application for a direction upon the trial Court for expeditious disposal of N Case No.36 of 2020 arising out of Lake Town P.S. Case No. 22 dated 3rd February, 2020 under Sections 21(C)/29 of the NDPS Act read with Section 13/14 of the Foreigners Act.

It is submitted on behalf of the accused/petitioner that the petitioner has been in custody for more than three years. Trial of

the case was commenced long back. Out of six witnesses till date only two witnesses have been examined. The instant case is pending for examination of remaining four witnesses. Under such backdrop the instant revision is disposed of directing the trial Judge to examine the remaining four witnesses within four months from the date of communication of this order. Thereafter he shall come to a logical conclusion of the case within one month.

The instant revision is, thus, disposed of.
