The petitioners are Assistant Teachers of Primary Schools.

The petitioner no.1 is a confirmed teacher of Bharadihi Primary School under Gangajalghati South Circle of DPSC, Bankura and the petitioner no.2 is a confirmed teacher of Milikpara F.P. School under Sadar West Circle of DPSC, Purba Bardhaman.The petitioners are praying inter district mutual transfer.

The representations of the petitioners dated August 27, 2024 are pending before the Secretary, the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the respondent no.4 herein.

The petitioners are required to furnish letter of confirmation of their respective service before the respondent no. 4 within a week from date the said respondent thereafter shall consider and dispose of the said representations of the petitioners in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the said letter of confirmation of service.

WPA 24711 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
