Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the private respondents.

Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record.

A copy of the same is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is aged about 75 years old. His wife is bedridden. She owns a land which is the source of livelihood for the couple. The private respondents are rank outsiders having no interest in the property. Yet, they have been disturbing the possession and enjoyment of such property by the petitioner and his wife. The police were approached, but no action was taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. On the complaint of the petitioner, a specific FIR being Murutia Police Case No.253 dated 25.08.2023 has been registered. The same is being

investigated. The police are keeping a close watch on the developments in the locality.

It appears that the police authorities have acted on the complaint of the petitioner by registering the FIR and investigated into the allegations.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this case. However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. If any untoward incident occurs or is apprehended by the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to call up the Officer-in-Charge of the local police station who shall then act in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Parties shall act on a server copy duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.
