Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been detained in custody on the accusations of recovery of 41 kg of ganja and she is in custody for about two years. It is further submitted that till date none of the witnesses have been examined and there is no possibility of the trial concluding in near future.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the materials appearing and is of the opinion that the provisions of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted.

As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1315 of 2025 is dismissed.

However, State is directed to take steps so that within a period of 60 days from the next date so fixed seizure list witnesses are examined.

Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid period is over.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
