1. We have heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State respondents.

2. The respondent Municipality has been served and affidavit of service has been filed.

3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for appropriate direction to consider her representation dated 26.06.2023 by which the petitioner would point out that the public drain/canals/water bodies and the roads have been unauthorisedly blocked by the promoters and contractors in the area in question which falls within the jurisdiction of the respondent Municipality.

4. Since we are disposing of the writ petition without calling for affidavits, we do not express any opinion on the merits of the allegations made in the representation or in the writ petition.

5. In the light of the above, we direct the respondent nos.5 and 6 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2023, conduct an inspection of the area in question and take action in accordance with law after notice to all concerned.

6. The petitioner is directed to submit copy of the representation along with the copy of this order and present the same in the office of the 5th respondent Municipality to facilitate compliance of the above direction.

7. The direction be complied with by the respondent Municipality within four weeks from the date on which copy of the representation along with the copy of this order is placed before the respondent Municipality.

8. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
