By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner has prayed for cancellation of appointment of one Sri, Harun Rashid being respondent No.8 who is working as Teacher-in-charge in Sevagram High School (H.S), District- Uttar Dinajpur.

On query it has been submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that he is a local resident where Sevagram High School is situated. It is trite law that unless a person is associated with the school he has no locus standi to question the eligibility of a teacher to perform his duty. In the present case since petitioner is a local resident and he is not in any way associated with the

school writ petition at his instance is not maintainable.

Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
