Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that twice the Hon'ble Supreme Court rejected the prayer for bail of the present petitioner and the recovery in this case is of 996 bottles of phensedyl.

Learned advocate for the petitioner, in order to rebut such contentions, submits that after the bail of the present petitioner was rejected, the other accuse persons had been granted bail.

I have considered the locus of the present petitioner as well as the present stage of the case. From report so submitted by the State, it reflects that out of the 30

witnesses proposed to be examined, 29 witnesses have already been examined and the examination of one witness is left.

Having considered the overall circumstances and guided by the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 1327 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
