By presenting this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for supply of authenticated copy of his daughter's answer script of Physical Science paper of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2024.

An application was made under the relevant provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005 on 12th September, 2024 by the daughter of the petitioner before the concerned authority of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education but till date copy of the answer script

has not been supplied to daughter of the petitioner.

Bhattacharyya, learned advocate representing the Board submits that though time has been stipulated vide notification dated 2nd May, 2024 issued by the Deputy Secretary (Academic) and S.P.I.O. (HQ), West Bengal Board of Secondary Education but if Court directs answer script can be supplied since same is not destroyed as yet.

Since application for supply of answer script was made before expiry of six months on 12th September, 2024 taking note of the fact that result of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2024 was published on 2nd May, 2024, as a special case concerned authority of the Board is directed to supply a copy of answer script of Physical Science paper of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2024 to the petitioner by three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
