At the time of call no one appears on behalf of the petitioners and no accommodation is prayed for.

However, State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by learned advocates.

Dr. Patra, learned advocate representing the Commission has submitted that the petitioners participated in 1st SLST 2016 (Class XI & XII). Petitioners have made prayer connected to their participation in the aforesaid selection process of 2016. The entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 for classes IX and X & XI and XII has already been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of aforesaid situation no relief can

be granted at present to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law in future, if situation so arises.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
