The petitioner may pursue other remedies in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

It is absolutely made clear that this Court has not entered into the rival contentions of the parties. The concerned Police Station should take steps strictly in accordance with law.

Since no affidavits have been filed by the respondents, the allegations made in the writ application shall not be deemed to have been admitted.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
