The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent authorities to grant permission to his organization for holding a peaceful dharna and/or Sit-in-Demonstration on and from 13.12.2025 to 19.10.2025 from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours everyday, over a vacant land situated in front of the office of the Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA) beside the Durgapur Municipal Corporation (DMC) Building, City Centre, Durgapur.

It appears that during pendency of the writ application the matter was considered by the authorities concerned and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for

the petitioner has placed the No Objection Certificate issued by the authority concerned.

On hearing the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the writ petitioner shall file copies of the relevant documents being the No Objection Certificate and other papers before the Officer-in-Charge of Durgapur Police Station/authority concerned who shall act accordingly.

Copy of the said No Objection Certificate has been handed over to the learned Counsel for the State who shall then act accordingly.

It is further submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that they have intimated the authority concerned who is now directed to act in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been filed by the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Let urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
