The petitioner has challenged the impugned black listing search report of his vehicle bearing No. WB 59 C 8206 dated 25th April, 2022.

Learned counsel for the respondents produces a letter issued by the Additional Regional Transport Officer, Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur to the Regional Transport Officer, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur on 16th October, 2023 requesting release of the vehicle in question from the Vahan portal in order to enable the owner of the vehicle to carry on further transactions. The letter records there was erroneous black listing of the vehicle.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to act in terms of the letter dated 16th October, 2023 within one week from the date of communication of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
