The said representation has not been considered or disposed of till date.

Learned counsel representing the Co-operative Societies denies the allegation of the petitioners. Learned counsel representing the Registrar, Cooperative Societies and the State jointly submit that they are yet to receive instructions in the matter. As it appears that the representation (Annexure P4, p.49) seeking consideration of it filed by the petitioners is pending before the Joint Registrar of Co-

operative Societies, accordingly the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Registrar of Co-operative Societies to ensure and oversee that the complaint lodged by the petitioners is dealt with in accordance with law and disposed of, after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned decision shall be passed and communicated to the parties forthwith.

The Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall take all necessary remedial measures, if the allegations put forth by the petitioners are found to be true and correct. Learned counsel for the petitioners is directed to forward to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies a copy of the representation received by the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies on September 1, 2023 at the time of communicating this order.

WPA No.23932 of 2023 is disposed of.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
