By presenting this writ petition, grievance has been ventilated to the extent of non-payment of salary from 17th December, 2013 till end of February, 2014. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that vide memo dated 6th June, 2016, the Additional District Inspector of Schools (SE), Basirhat, North 24 Parganas granted approval in favour of the petitioner with effect from 17th December, 2013 and petitioner joined the post of Assistant Teacher on 17th December, 2013 but salary for the period from 17th December, 2013 till end of February, 2014 was not paid to the petitioner. In support of such contention, reliance is placed on a letter dated 6th May, 2015 issued by the Headmaster of Purba Khejurberia M.C. Institution (HS), North 24 Parganas whereby Headmaster of the school requested the Additional District Inspector of Schools (SE), Basirhat being respondent no.6 to take necessary steps for releasing arrear due.

Learned advocate representing State respondents submits that due to want of certain documents from the

end of aforesaid school authority arrear dues could not be released in favour of the petitioner.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, writ petition stands disposed of directing the Additional District Inspector of Schools (SE), Basirhat to release arrear salary of the petitioner for the period from 17th December, 2013 till end of February, 2014 by four weeks from the date of communication of this order, if same has not yet been released.

The authorities of Purba Khejurberia M.C.

Institution (HS), North 24 Parganas being respondent nos. 8 and 9 are directed to cooperate with respondent no.6 upon supplying necessary documents, if required, in order to facilitate respondent no. 6 to release arrear dues within aforesaid time.

There shall be no order as to costs.
