Communication made by the Assistant Engineer, Borough-III, Howrah Municipal Corporation to the Additional Commissioner of Police, Special Branch dated April 20, 2024 is taken on record. It appears therefrom that request has been made for deployment of police force on the day of execution of the order of demolition.

The Corporation shall take necessary steps to demolish the unauthorized construction in accordance with law.

Learned advocate representing the private respondents submits that no new construction has been made but only repairing work of the old construction in terms of the permission granted by the Howrah Municipal Corporation was being conducted. The writ petition stands disposed of.
